"text": "Raymond Simpson covered George Benson's \"Turn Your Love Around\" in 1982.\n\t\nRaymond Simpson is a London, UK based singer/songwriter whose music career has spanned 20 plus years.\nHis first album self entitled 'Ray Simpson' spawned the single \"Crazy Pictures\" on the Circa/Virgin record label and was followed by \"Out There.\" The Production of this album took him to America where he enlisted the skills of respected musicians from Pino Palladino to Michael J. Powell, of Anita Baker fame. Being of UK origin, Raymond's first entry into music was as a reggae artist charting the British Reggae charts with the single \"Is It Always Gonna Be Like This\" and a cover of George Benson's \"Turn your Love Around.\" He is a producer and has many writing credits for other UK artists. Raymond has worked with other UK artists including Maxi Priest, Incognito, Caron Wheeler and Soul II Soul."

"text": "Ruddy Thomas contributed his version of Debarge's hit \"All This Love\" in 1982.\nRuddy Thomas started recording at Studio One in the early 1970s, moved later to Treasure Isle, and from 1975 on he was part of Joe Gibbs' studio band The Professionals, where he worked as a percussionist. In the 1980s he was a quite busy recording engineer (especially at Dynamic Sounds) as well as singer on solos (on the British Hawkeye label) and duets (with female reggae singers such as Susan Cadogan).\nRuddy Thomas died June 10, 2006 while performing on stage in Port Antonio, JA."
