"text": "The Mouse and the Mask is an album by Danger Doom, a collaboration between the hip hop artists Danger Mouse and MF Doom. \n\nThe album is composed almost entirely of raps by MF Doom, performed over beats created by Danger Mouse sampling music from various television shows airing on Cartoon Network's programming block Adult Swim including Space Ghost Coast to Coast.\n--\nLast year we lost George Lowe, the voice actor who played Space Ghost on Adult Swim’s Space Ghost Coast To Coast a few days ago. Friends reported Lowe had been suffering from illness for some time before his death on Sunday. He was 67 years old. \n\nThe talk show spoof revived the ’60s-era Hanna-Barbera superhero to conduct interviews with live-action guests, including the likes of David Byrne, The Ramones, The Bee Gees, Thom Yorke, and more. The show ran for more than 10 years and led to spin-offs, including The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. Lowe also appeared as Space Ghost on the Danger Doom song \"Space Ho's.\""

"text": "The lead single from 18, Moby explained during a performance of the song at the 2003 Glastonbury festival that he wrote it in New York after the September 11 attacks to express a sense of hopefulness. \n\nThe lyrics were inspired by the scientific principle that all matter in the universe is essentially made up of stardust. During a Reddit AMA session, Moby said the song is relatively accurate, scientifically speaking. \n\n\"Apart from two elements (hydrogen and helium?) everything else on the periodic table of elements (with which we're comprised) came from the furnace of a star somewhere,\" he wrote. \"Just remember: there's not a single part of you that wasn't present in the first 1/2 second of the big bang. Technically, we're all 13,600,000,000 years old.\" https://bit.ly/3LuFrbM"

"text": "Soundgarden were 2025 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!\n--\n\"Soundgarden ignited the grunge movement that radically changed rock & roll in the 1980s and 1990s. The band’s raw power came out of the Northwest and flew in the face of a disconnected world, giving fans what they had long desired: a voice and a sense of belonging. A unique combination of alternative, metal, and punk, Soundgarden’s compelling sound cemented their place in music history.\"\n\nRead more here: https://rockhall.com/inductees/soundgarden/"

"text": "This DJ duo began performing together in the early 90s. Their first two albums were released by ESL, founded by Rob and Eric of Thievery Corporation. http://www.karminskyexperience.com/\n--\nThe album’s oldest track, and arguably still its best, “Exploration”, which American downtempo fans will recognize from Thievery Corporation’s contribution to the DJ-Kicks series. Over an insistently funky bassline, played by Gary Crockett of the legendary acid jazz pioneers James Taylor Quartet, synth and sitar drones swirl in and out of each other hypnotically as the unassuming voice of an astronaut explains, “That’s the reason we’re exploring; you never know what you’ll find on an exploration”. This is space age groove music at its finest.\n\nhttps://www.popmatters.com/karminskyexperience-power-2495955740.html"

James explained to UK newspaper, The Sun, that the song is about the circular nature of life. \n\nOriginally conceived as a Muppets song for Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, the song was to be performed by My Morning Jacket live with the Muppets on stage with the band behind a curtain, playing live.
