"text": "On this song, George Harrison said: \"‘Within You Without You’ came about after I had spent a bit of time in India and fallen under the spell of the country and its music. I had brought back a lot of instruments. It was written at Klaus Voormann’s house in Hampstead after dinner one night. The song came to me when I was playing a pedal harmonium.\nI’d also spent a lot of time with Ravi Shankar, trying to figure out how to sit and hold the sitar, and how to play it. ‘Within You Without You’ was a song that I wrote based upon a piece of music of Ravi’s that he’d recorded for All-India Radio. It was a very long piece – maybe 30 or 40 minutes – and was written in different parts, with a progression in each. I wrote a mini version of it, using sounds similar to those I’d discovered in his piece. I recorded in three segments and spliced them together later.\""

"text": "New music from Grand Rapids, Michigan-based isobel whose favorite artists range from Bjork to Radiohead.\n\nisobel coded her own website as a side project, which you can check out here: https://tinyurl.com/4m3we9np\n\nOn her about me, she writes, \"anyway, i think you know my name already. i make music and i'm truly a creative at heart. i've been involved in music in some capacity my whole life. as a kid, i would mess around on garageband on my mom's ipad. later, in middle & high school, i found myself enveloped in various choirs. choir taught me many of the fundamentals of music theory, which i carry into my writing today. most importantly, it trained my ear--which is pretty much how i learn everything in music.\n\n\"i started writing, producing, and recording music when i turned 17 in quarantine. i always wanted to make music, but i had this idea implanted in my head that some producer was supposed to find me. i guess i didn't think that girls could produce music too. one day, i stumbled upon another artist my age who produced their own music and i realized i could i give it a shot. i made stuff all day, everyday. i wouldn't even open the curtains in the morning. at this time, i also started to seriously play guitar. i technically started playing when i was 11 but i hadn't touched my guitar since. later on, i picked up some bass, a little keys, and now a little drums. i'm not very good though.\""
