It’s taking place Tuesday, December 2nd at McCaw Hall in Seattle. The event will feature performances by Jeff Tweedy and Mavis Staples, performing for one night only just for KEXP listeners. \n\nJeff Tweedy, of Wilco, and the legendary gospel singer and civil rights activist Mavis Staples have been longtime collaborators – including Jeff producing and co-writing multiple of Mavis’ albums, including 2010’s ‘You Are Not Alone.’ Jeff also produced the 2015 posthumous album ‘Don’t Lose This’ by Mavis’ father – Pops Staples. \n\nJeff also just recently released his own triple album, ‘Twilight Override,’ last month!
