recorded by Love in 1974. Mac Miller shortened the title to \"Everybody\".\n\nMac Miller’s posthumous release, 'Circles', is a pleasant and relaxed-sounding song cycle that lyrically delves into internal struggles and anxieties. Co-produced by Jon Brion, his virtuosity is apparent throughout. It’s as impressive a collection as Miller has produced, and an uplifting and optimistic note to a tragic end. \n\nRead the full review here: https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/mac-miller-circles/", "location": 1, "location_name": "Default", "play_type": "trackplay" }, { "id": 3632735, "uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/plays/3632735/?format=api", "airdate": "2026-03-23T12:36:24-07:00", "show": 66260, "show_uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/shows/66260/?format=api", "image_uri": "https://coverartarchive.org/release/2a275931-f268-47de-8b63-d5c0fe40a23a/14562010053-500.jpg", "thumbnail_uri": "https://coverartarchive.org/release/2a275931-f268-47de-8b63-d5c0fe40a23a/14562010053-250.jpg", "song": "Seven & Seven Is", "track_id": null, "recording_id": "2edbe01b-f6ec-4929-9bb1-d89360beae3a", "artist": "Love", "artist_ids": [ "34ec9a8d-c65b-48fd-bcdd-aad2f72fdb47" ], "album": "Da Capo", "release_id": null, "release_group_id": "4cc16c40-ef3a-36d9-9f96-89cbf1c61ec6", "labels": [ "Rhino" ], "label_ids": [ "c4f2cf49-b57c-4cc1-8061-f54400704ac4" ], "release_date": "1966-11-01", "rotation_status": null, "is_local": false, "is_request": false, "is_live": false, "comment": "The Damned released (in 1987) a cover of \"Alone Again Or\", originally writen by Love frontman Arthur Lee.\n\nWritten by Arthur Lee for his band Love, the song \"Seven & Seven Is\" drew inspiration from Lee's high school sweetheart, Anita Billings, who shared his birthday of March 7.", "location": 1, "location_name": "Default", "play_type": "trackplay" }, { "id": 3632734, "uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/plays/3632734/?format=api", "airdate": "2026-03-23T12:33:47-07:00", "show": 66260, "show_uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/shows/66260/?format=api", "image_uri": "https://dn710605.ca.archive.org/0/items/mbid-96c27010-925a-4e75-86a4-b55ad42480c5/mbid-96c27010-925a-4e75-86a4-b55ad42480c5-5641811873_thumb500.jpg", "thumbnail_uri": "https://dn710605.ca.archive.org/0/items/mbid-96c27010-925a-4e75-86a4-b55ad42480c5/mbid-96c27010-925a-4e75-86a4-b55ad42480c5-5641811873_thumb250.jpg", "song": "New Rose", "track_id": "aeba2b35-3258-33f9-8e37-f5b66f8be5ee", "recording_id": "8007c8aa-b862-4546-9f15-9e1b73980054", "artist": "The Damned", "artist_ids": [ "77d21c13-846f-4f48-9546-873949eff6ae" ], "album": "Damned Damned Damned", "release_id": "96c27010-925a-4e75-86a4-b55ad42480c5", "release_group_id": "3ed0e51d-62a4-3957-ab42-579c6f8c148b", "labels": [ "Stiff Records" ], "label_ids": [ "df57ad64-fae7-4976-a8a0-d6d344867e09" ], "release_date": "1977-02-18", "rotation_status": "Library", "is_local": false, "is_request": false, "is_live": false, "comment": "This was The Damned's first single, widely considered the first UK punk single (in 1976), and it was produced by Nick Lowe, then a central figure at Stiff Records.\n\nRIP Brian James who died on 6 March 2025, at the age of 70.\n--\nFirst formed in 1976, The Damned recently reunited for the first tour with their original lineup in 35 years. \n\nhttps://www.officialdamned.com/\n\nWatch the video for this track, with a black lipstick clad Dave Vanian: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUxFQ5QBiYk", "location": 1, "location_name": "Default", "play_type": "trackplay" }, { "id": 3632733, "uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/plays/3632733/?format=api", "airdate": "2026-03-23T12:30:29-07:00", "show": 66260, "show_uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/shows/66260/?format=api", "image_uri": "https://dn721900.ca.archive.org/0/items/mbid-23ede523-1685-4379-9280-6237b785d72b/mbid-23ede523-1685-4379-9280-6237b785d72b-43952553533_thumb500.jpg", "thumbnail_uri": "https://dn721900.ca.archive.org/0/items/mbid-23ede523-1685-4379-9280-6237b785d72b/mbid-23ede523-1685-4379-9280-6237b785d72b-43952553533_thumb250.jpg", "song": "Lately I’ve Let Things Slide", "track_id": "f169849b-4470-3c2a-8a62-417934cb440a", "recording_id": "7efbff55-e4b6-4a7a-b203-c25dd4e49c80", "artist": "Nick Lowe", "artist_ids": [ "a3d5a6bf-c86d-44d3-969b-f345620009c6" ], "album": "The Convincer", "release_id": "23ede523-1685-4379-9280-6237b785d72b", "release_group_id": "262eb3e8-6aae-322b-8959-cdb718a85137", "labels": [ "Yep Roc Records" ], "label_ids": [ "1edc2ff4-e80d-4539-8c6a-749474f7db3a" ], "release_date": "2001-09-11", "rotation_status": null, "is_local": false, "is_request": false, "is_live": false, "comment": "Nick Lowe produced Elvis Costello's early albums, including 'My Aim Is True', 'This Year's Model', and 'Armed Forces'. The original, spoken word version of \"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised\" was released in 1970 on his debut album \"Small Talk at 125th and Lenox,\" on which he recited the lyrics, accompanied by congas and bongo drums.\n\nIn 1971 Gil Scott-Heron and musical partner Brian Jackson re-arranged the song. Jackson jammed on the flute while warm, jazzy rhythms added depth to the previously sparse track. These elements, when added to Scott-Heron's calm and intelligent vocal delivery, earned the song radio airplay across the US.\n\nhttps://gilscottherononline.com/", "location": 1, "location_name": "Default", "play_type": "trackplay" }, { "id": 3632726, "uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/plays/3632726/?format=api", "airdate": "2026-03-23T11:58:43-07:00", "show": 66260, "show_uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/shows/66260/?format=api", "image_uri": "https://coverartarchive.org/release/f5173c0c-fde4-4197-a078-85a449992dfb/30219708523-500.jpg", "thumbnail_uri": "https://coverartarchive.org/release/f5173c0c-fde4-4197-a078-85a449992dfb/30219708523-250.jpg", "song": "The Creator Has a Master Plan (Peace)", "track_id": null, "recording_id": "ce468561-8886-4400-80d7-b38b9b048923", "artist": "Leon Thomas", "artist_ids": [ "46f70f03-d259-4314-b926-2db36c28d86f" ], "album": "Spirits Known and Unknown", "release_id": null, "release_group_id": "d887e7cf-2288-3a08-853e-74591c85e556", "labels": [ "BMG" ], "label_ids": [ "29d7c88f-5200-4418-a683-5c94ea032e38" ], "release_date": "1969-01-01", "rotation_status": null, "is_local": false, "is_request": false, "is_live": false, "comment": "The late, great Sonny Sharrock also plays on \"The Creator Has a Master Plan\"!", "location": 1, "location_name": "Default", "play_type": "trackplay" }, { "id": 3632724, "uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/plays/3632724/?format=api", "airdate": "2026-03-23T11:56:42-07:00", "show": 66260, "show_uri": "https://api.kexp.org/v2/shows/66260/?format=api", "image_uri": "https://dn711306.ca.archive.org/0/items/mbid-10caa104-0ddf-4f20-bcad-d45b282ed0c2/mbid-10caa104-0ddf-4f20-bcad-d45b282ed0c2-16411368951_thumb500.jpg", "thumbnail_uri": "https://dn711306.ca.archive.org/0/items/mbid-10caa104-0ddf-4f20-bcad-d45b282ed0c2/mbid-10caa104-0ddf-4f20-bcad-d45b282ed0c2-16411368951_thumb250.jpg", "song": "Hit Single", "track_id": "74a1103d-8f07-4469-96f5-c314174d0a3c", "recording_id": "a3405c56-1ce6-4f40-8d00-38a386212931", "artist": "Sonny Sharrock", "artist_ids": [ "ebd39596-e2bb-4b3c-a661-412a4198a083" ], "album": "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast", "release_id": "10caa104-0ddf-4f20-bcad-d45b282ed0c2", "release_group_id": "7f8c88db-b964-3981-a00f-1deb7e32d621", "labels": [ "Cartoon Network" ], "label_ids": [ "c7f78cf5-80e9-489d-bd9a-ba14c8699266" ], "release_date": "1994-01-01", "rotation_status": "Library", "is_local": false, "is_request": false, "is_live": false, "comment": "Sonny Sharrock appeared as a guitarist on Mann's 'Memphis Underground'!", "location": 1, "location_name": "Default", "play_type": "trackplay" } ] }
