Logistics seemed impossible because Warren was on endless Nick Cave tours so that project evaporated. Maybe it’ll form as a rain cloud and rain down on us someday.\n\nI held on to the song and it finally found a home on this record as the world cycled back into it having relevance. I like this song. It feels good.\"\n\nhttps://stereogum.com/2485958/bill-callahan-stepping-out-for-air/music",

"comment": "“Mexican Radio” is a single from Wall of Voodoo’s second album, Call of the West (1982). The release label, I.R.S. Records, was unwilling to invest much in promotion, but the band spent a couple of days in Tijuana to make a video for the song. MTV was still a new cable channel at the time, and the era of the music video was heating up. The video was a hit. \n\nOnce the song was established on MTV, US radio stations started playing it, too, and it became the band’s highest charting single in the United States. Here's that special video.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyCEexG9xjw",
