Nobody was trying to start a band, but here we are. It was a pretty wild time in my life, to be honest. Everything felt so familiar when we started writing songs together, but all of it was so new. It was super intense. \"Sometimes I think people don’t understand that this isn’t exactly a choice for us. This is just how we came out. I would love more than anyone else to not be neurotic and slightly mentally ill, but that’s how the cookie crumbled and if I don’t create I turn into a way less fun version of myself.\" https://tinyurl.com/ycy4tt3f \nhttps://boydeluxe.bandcamp.com",

"comment": "The third single from the Surrender album, \"Out Of Control\" features sassy guest vocals by New Order's Bernard Sumner and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie. Sumner also co-wrote the tune with the Chemical Brothers pair.\n\nThe music video was directed by Andrew \"W.I.Z.\" Whiston. The clip starring Rosario Dawson, depicts what initially appears to be a protest but turns out to be an advertisement for a fictional Coca-Cola-type beverage.\n\nThe visual turned out to be strangely prophetic when 18 years later Pepsi released a controversial commercial that showed a protest march being stopped by a wall of police. Kendall Jenner then walks forward and hands an officer a Pepsi, who drinks it and smiles, while the crowd cheers. To nobody's surprise the ad was pulled a day later.\n\nIn a statement to Fader, Wiz said: \"The original inspiration for my Chemical Brothers film came from The Clash lyric: 'Huh, you think it's funny turning rebellion into money,' crystallizing a deep-felt anger that when it comes to the profit margin, absolutely nothing is sacred, not even heartfelt expressions for social justice. We made this film in 1999, however today the inevitable has materialized: it's become a self-fulfilling prophecy.\" https://tinyurl.com/5n77erpm",

It's inspired by our own love story. Bryce and I first met in high school, we dated for ten years before getting married in 2018. We've now officially been together for over half of our lives.\n\n\"The style of the song is an ode to my lifelong obsession with pop music. I kept asking Bryce to write a song that's more directly pop, and he finally did! It was really fun to work on, and a challenge for him to produce/mix something in this vein.\"\n\nHere’s the duo’s full performance live in the KEXP studio last year: https://tinyurl.com/rpr8sv8w",
