"comment": "Why did KGATLW record two versions of The Silver Cord? Singer and multi-instrumentalist Stu Mackenzie explains:\n\n\"We've done a lot of long form songs lately, and a lot of epic songs and done a lot of recording kind of based around improvisation lately for last few years and that's been really sick. But anyway, when we were talking about making this record, the idea was always to actually keep it really short and considered and concise and trim the fat and we have made records like that before but not for quite a while. So, that was kind of enticing.\"\nhttps://shorturl.at/kszSX",

It was released as the third single from the album in September 1966, reaching number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100, but failing to chart in the United Kingdom. Upon its release as a single, the music press coined the term \"space-rock\" to describe it, although since then, this term has come to refer to a genre of rock music originating from 1970s progressive and psychedelic music",

"comment": "Le Sony'r Ra (born Herman Poole Blount, May 22, 1914 – May 30, 1993), better known as Sun Ra, was a jazz composer, bandleader, piano and synthesizer player, and poet known for his experimental music, \"cosmic\" philosophy, prolific output, and theatrical performances. His widely eclectic and avant-garde music echoed the entire history of jazz, from ragtime and early New Orleans hot jazz, to swing music, bebop, free jazz and fusion. His compositions ranged from keyboard solos to works for big bands of over 30 musicians, along with electronic excursions, songs, chants, percussion pieces, and anthems. From the mid-1950s until his death, Ra led the musical collective The Arkestra. Its performances often included dancers and musicians dressed in elaborate, futuristic costumes inspired by ancient Egyptian attire and the Space Age.",

"comment": "\"Be free. Be kind.\"\n\nThat is the philosophy of the Croatian-Slovenian duo whose music carries a strong message of love and hope, complemented by R&B and jazz grooves. \n\nSara Ester Gredelj (vocals, piano) was born in Croatia, and Nina Korošak-Serčič (drums) has Slovenian roots, but they met in Vienna, Austria, at one of Europe’s best art and music universities, the “Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Graz”, “Kunstuniversität Graz” (KUG); it is not an entirely surprising fact as KUG has always attracted talented young musicians from the Balkan region. Sara and Nina met, shared their love for jazz, soul, r’n’b and pop and decided to start a band. \nhttp://tinyurl.com/urc2rbc9",
