So my father passed away this past March at 89 yo – we who knew and loved him were grateful and blessed – in his mid-60s, he was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer and most of us thought (based on the data and words of the doctors) that he had not very long to live then. He endured chemo, removal of his bladder, prostate and other plumbing and through faith and a positive attitude he lived another 20+ years. So TLDR, there is hope! One of his favorite films was “Midnight Cowboy” – story of a loving and unlikely friendship – thus I’ll request “Everybody’s Talkin’” by Harry Nilsson.\"",
