    "comment": "From Dave (proud amplifier) in Chicago: \n\nGood Morning Miss Ashley, Wanted to share that my dad passed away last Wednesday, after a brief hospice stay. Today would have been his 92nd birthday. (I'm giving the full 92 years to him for good behavior!) It's so soon after his death that I really don't know exactly how this will affect me going forward. Clearly there is sadness, but at the moment, the overriding emotion is gratitude for both the length and quality of our time together. \n\nMy sister and I were with him at the end. He was alert and interactive with us as we played hymns as well as Miles and Wynton Marsalis. It was kind of like a movie script, truly a blessing. So I'll be listening with a different perspective today. Thanks to you for your contribution to the day, and to KEXP for allowing this opportunity for this community to support each other once again.
