We listened to the Sunday morning programming religiously--she loved the slow build from 7 to noon. It made me see the true gift that a radio station and the community it builds is unlike anything else. I needed to be a part of it and needed to support it to make sure it sticks around so someone else out there can discover it when they need it most.\n\nSince my mom's passing, my grief around that made my life spiral out of control. My marriage fell apart, started a new career, came out as a gay man (which is the hardest thing I have to do every single day).
