    "comment": "“Our House” was written by Madness singer/multi-instrumentalist Cathal “Chas Smash” Smyth and guitarist Chris Foreman. In the liner notes of a 1986 compilation album, Smyth said ““Our House” grew from the idea that each band member would write about his family. No one else bothered. I did.”\n--\nThe song marked the group’s first time working with string arranger David Bedford. Lead singer Graham “Suggs” McPherson said: “It was clear to him what our records needed and he did great things for us. It’s strange now to think we were so philosophical about such everyday things.”",
